Sorry I didn't respond earlier, I have been having trouble with my internet connection. Our top goal is $2.5 million, but we realize that we may not reach that goal in direct pledges. The planning, liturgical, steering and construction committees are working very closely with the architects and construction company to monitor how much we can expect to need and what accommodations we may need to make depending on funding levels. We have contingency plans with the Diocese to aquire a loan for the balance, if necessary, and hope to be able to secure that next year. In the meantime, we are hopeful that pledges will continue and feel that our parish has been very blessed with strong participation. I hope this is helpful.
